My OP was slightly tongue in cheek, but let's give him his credit, he's now taken over the reigns twice and steered is to safety and more stability. I was impressed having watched the recent fly on the wall video and he seems like a coach who will change the tactics around depending on the opposition to get the best chance of points rather than trying to win top possession team of the season.
More time goes on, more I'm convinced he'll get the role on a permanent basis, we'll save on potential release fee for another club (if attached) which could be better served in investing in the squad. Let's see what Sheehan can do being the main man and having a full window and pre-season to work with. | | | |

I think you've nailed it there. The subtle (but critical) difference is that Sheehan is working with what we already have; the new manager will also be expected to be a major reason as to why a new player wants to sign/play for us. So in that respect contacts and an ability to promote a vision will be important. | | | |
