So I'm watching his podcast on YouTube and they have Ian Taylor our former head of media on. Bukkard has just revealed he nearly signed for us. Had a meeting with Briatore and Warnock. Apparently Briatore told him he was leaving but the new owner wanted him. They agreed a fee, wages etc and contracts being done. Then a couple of days later, Briatore was gone and it fell through. I know it's the past, but justing trying to think what that would have been like. He said it was also around the time Barton came in. I think despite his injuries I would have wanted Bullard instead of Barton

Something about Bullard irks me. Don't think the dressing room would have improved with him in it. The treatment table would have been busy too.

Good from far, but far from good.

I remember we were linked with him that summer. He couldn't have been as bad as Barton!

Well I prefer anybody to Barton, but Bullard subsequently signed for Hull on ridiculous wages and it turned out he didn't have any knees left. Catastrophic signing for them that helped drive the club to the brink of a financial collapse. So probably a bullet dodged there!

Ian Taylor was then asked to divulge something that no one knows. He mentioned the Darren Ambrose non signing. He obviously didn't read the message boards lol. The one bit I didn't know is that the contract was actually signed. So like we know, interviews were done, pictures all taken. They even did an interview with the manager to talk about the signing.

The contract was signed in the evening and only had to be sent/lodged with the FA. The plan was to do that in the morning. However, the next morning the deal was pulled because Steve Parish was taking over Crystal Palace and didn't want him to go.

Now I know some people probably knew all of that, I just didn't know the contract was actually signed.

It's quite an interesting interview if you can put up with that muppet Fenners. Ian talks a lot about QPR. He said Paolo Sosa was great to work with but surprise surprise Redknapp was an ass

I remember reading that he was a bit of a 'do you know who I am?' c*nt. I probably shouldn't judge him on hearsay so I'll just judge him on that hairdo.

Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. He runs like a cheetah, his crosses couldn't be sweeter. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore.

Great band too.

Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

Maybe but I'd probably still rather have had him than Barton
