Nick who would you drop to accommodate Armstrong, Charles & Edwards? Armstrong can only warm WBA's bench and cant cut it at the top level (73 games and 6 goals).

Poll: Has the Ross Stewart deal already paid off as Nick says?

Many of these are either crocked or not getting a game at loan clubs. They are the same players that didn't' perform when they got a chance.

Shay Charles is probably the only one I would give another chance, but even he was inconsistent.

Time for a wholesale clear out.

I agree. at the end of this awful season it's a good opportunity to have a reset.
Get rid of all the deadwood, bring in fresh new talent, those with a hunger & desire to make our club proud again.
OK, it's not that straight forward because of contractual obligations etc, but it has to be done somewhen so do at the end of this season, if not sooner.
It's already started at the top so now have a complete overhaul top to bottom.

Its the Southampton Way - At the end of the season try and get rid of the dead wood, to make room for more dead wood

Its not working for Armstrong at West Brom, but he was proven a year ago in the Championship, so no reason why he can't do it next season.

I would like to see a central midfield holding duo of Downes & Charles, so Charles would replace Ugochukwu.

Edwards could replace any of our existing central defenders from what I have seen & hear of his performances at QPR.

I'm reserving judgement on Charles and Edwards.

Yes, they've impressed at their respective loan clubs.

But there is a massive difference between the expectation of two mid table Championship sides and ourselves who should be aiming to win the Championship.

We need players that will guarantee us 90 plus points , not the 50 to 60 points that QPR and Sheff Weds will end up on.

Once Derby’s record is put to bed, fine chuck in the youth. But let’s get another point.
