League 2 north south divide 08:04 - Apr 27 with 638 viewswessex_exile

Regardless of outcomes next Saturday, it’s worth noting that the balance of north and south football clubs next season is already significantly redressed. Definitely leaving are Doncaster, Port Vale, Morecambe, Carlisle and probably Bradford. Definitely joining are Crawley, Bristol Rovers, Cambridge United, Shrewsbury and Barnet.

Definitely a blow for us in the frozen North.

Well we just need three results to go our way on Saturday.

Stranger Things and all that.

If Seaweed fail with promotion they will have some mammoth journeys next year - not good for the travelling fan

Great for the club and our fans that go away to lose some of those really long trips and replace them with some much shorter ones.

Also some of biggest League Two clubs are going up and some of the smallest League One clubs coming down. Is football levelling off? Will "punching above your weight" become a thing of the past?

868 miles there and back by road - that's a badge of honour for anyone who makes the trip.
