Musk and Bezos finally realising that Trump is not so great ? 17:49 - Apr 29 with 1439 views | saintmark1976 | Lowest Presidential ratings in history after 100 days. Hasn’t stopped the war in Ukraine and appears to be repeatedly “ tucked up “ by Putin. Canadians voting against his wishes. Musk allegedly losing 11 billion dollars by having Tesla associated with him. Bezos arguing with him today over tariffs. Proving that perhaps vast amounts of money does in fact colour good judgment ?

Why are they? Being devil's advocate ... have you NEVER used an Amazon service? Have you never used PayPal? Where do you stop, Oracle, IBM, Microsoft? These 'tech oligarchs' underpin pretty much everything you're using. This forum probably sits on AWS somewhere or using an Oracle CDN? Potentially one of the people you like could be posting from home using a Starlink connection to be able to converse with you. What device are you using? I could go on ... If you're using an Amstrad on Tiscali dial-up broadband, then fair enough.

You are right in that we are so dependent on these Tech oligarchs, but they need to be controlled. They have too much power and I am sure most counties would not want to have a bunch of rich oligarchs run their country. You only have to look at some of the crazy decisions Musk (unelected) and Robert Kennedy have done in the 1st 100 days. [Post edited 30 Apr 9:28]

Whilst that's true, if you were invited by the President to "help him run the country" most people would jump at the chance, no? Elected or not, it's the person in charge's fault and now like the new messiah prophecy, he's falling out with them and moving onto the next "beautiful" person to help him MAGA. Again just being devil's advocate, I have no love of how Bezos treats his employees or Musk's bizarre opinions.

Amazon are a scummy organisation, who are getting bigger and more influential off the back of massive tax breaks and worker exploitation. They pay bugger all Corp tax despite turning over billions and their delivery network is basically built on slave labour. They've shat on so many small to medium businesses in the supply chain which they now have a complete monopoly on. People need to wake up to the damage company's like this are doing to the business landscape, but sadly most don't care and now think it's perfectly normal you can order something for pence at 11.00pm and it turns up foc the following day.
