To those who went to Sunderland yesterday 09:19 - May 4 with 1497 views | 1BobbyHazell | Firstly. Nice one, really pleased for the day out you lot must have had after the last couple of weeks. Second. What was the general vibe re Marti and such? Was his song getting a good airing etc? Thirdly. I didn't get to see anything after the game. Were there any players obviously saying/waving goodbye? How did it all feel at the end?

I didn’t see many players making a special effort to say goodbye, but we were a long way away from them. Good atmosphere though and I’m glad we made the journey. Some good banter with the locals before and after the game with no trouble that I saw. Some good fans amongst their crowd and it would be a shame to lose a great away day if they get promoted, which most of their fans are dreading if it happens.

One group sang an anto Marti song which was followed by Xavi Calms blue and white army which made me laugh as he'd almost certanly have been on the bus to West Brom if Marti had got that job but really I think most of us just wanted to enjoy the game and the day out rather than go over all that again. Was weird not signing the paella song though I'm gonna miss that Was a good atmosphere though and helped by a good performance from the team Jimmy Dunne was waving a lot at the end but i'm not sure that meant much as we were miles away and he waves like that most weeks
To those who went to Sunderland yesterday on 20:19 - May 4 with 727 views | loftboy | One of the best away days I’ve had in a while, had a 40 minute walk to the ground from where I parked my car (the ad said 20) was a bit worried as me and my boy had our QPR shirts on, every local we chatted to was friendly and very inquisitive about Marti and what had gone on. In the ground was a party style atmosphere, the younguns were in great form. Only slight sour point was walking away from the ground one of our young female fans pushed through and in a loud voice was saying “let’s get out of here Sunderland’s a fúcking shithole” totally unnecessary and could have riled the locals up. Stood with Stowmarket and his brother as I do for home games and overall a 10/10 day out. [Post edited 4 May 21:44]
