Welsh Labour tacking to the left? on 18:52 - May 6 with 621 views | SullutaCreturned | I thought Labour getting into Downing street was going to be good for Wales, apparently not. Tacking left while we have a soft right PM, maybe not a great choice.

Welsh Labour tacking to the left? on 21:57 - May 8 with 452 views | ReslovenSwan1 | The Government needs to control public finances. The figure given below explain why cuts are needed. [According to think-tank the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS), spending in Great Britain on these benefits grew from £36bn to £48bn in real-terms from 2019-20 to 2023-24 and are projected to hit £63bn in 2028-29 (in 2024-25 prices). Annual spending on disability benefits grew by 45% in real-terms, and the number of recipients by 39%, while the inflation-adjusted cost of incapacity benefit grew by 26% and the caseload by 28%, from 2019-20 to 2023-24.] How can the number of recipients increase 39% in FOUR years. Illegal immigration is costing the taxpayer billions, whats Starmer doing, paying over the top to house them in hotels and rental properties, we got war veterans sleeping in shop door ways. Proper shyster, like the rest of these rich politicians they are so far removed for regular society that they have not got a clue.

Tax evasion costs the Treasury £15.2 billion in lost revenue, while benefit fraud costs £1.1 billion every year. Labour should be relentless.

Welsh Labour tacking to the left? on 01:19 - May 9 with 367 views | Robbie | Never voted for Devolution and Welsh Labour including dinosaur Drakeford . Just maybe a disagreement from Tiger Bay via Ms Morgan to tell Starmer the truth . A Politician to stand up for Wales and tell Westminster how it is , a unique scenario and will of course get ignored by No 10 as usual . Think Starmer ignored Dakeford in the past , says a lot about UK Politics .

I think Welsh Labour's biggest problem is they are too left of the Westminster party, they had the sense to get rid of Corbyn, we kept Drakford long enough for him to do significant damage. Plaid have ditched independence for at least any first term in power they get. I think they'll beat Labour next year.
