Will be interesting to see how things progress from here. You'd think there's as much cash there as Wrexham have had at their disposal, but infrastructure would need to change

On the other side of the Irwell from Manchester, the city of Salford is becoming a thriving place in its own right so a ground move closer to the city might be in order, which could itself add to the surrounding infrastructure in terms of leisure facilities if a big enough brownfield site can be found

I think they were pinning their hopes at one stage on moving across to the AJ Bell Stadium but that all fell through.
With Salford RLFC now lurching towards administration the plan might just be resurrected with the rugby team moving across to the Peninsula Stadium in a swap.
Salford City have found it difficult to escape L2 despite frequent changes of manager.
