Outside of family season, spring and fall, groups of wives/divorcees descend on the beach telling their loved ones its just a girls weekend.

Just type in google "resorts myrtle beach" then look at all the ocean front ones between 16th ave north and 30th ave North. That puts you in the middle of everything. You can always get lower cost ones like Four Points by Sheraton or La Qunita which are just a 5 minute ride to the beach
Best time, weather wise, tourist age wise and PRICE wise is mid oct to end of oct. Weather is low 80's daytime, 60 overnight and the place isnt swarmning with families/kids etc or the rowdy bunch which tends to be mid aug to end of spet [Post edited 11 May 14:57]

I guess I'm one of the few who enjoys the close season. I actually quite like having my weekends free to do other things than watch football, especially when the weather is as good as it currently is. |
This is usually my mindset.
This time it’s a bit different given the way we ended the season, the signings announced already and the general vibe around the club that we haven’t had for a very long time.
I’ll enjoy the break, but got a feeling I’ll start missing football quicker than most summers. | | | |
