1. This season seems to have seen a remarkable reduction in queueing to get in with 10 mins to go to kick off, probably due to the fanzones.
2. There were never 30,900 in the ground, I would say around 1,500 season ticket holders didn't bother to turn up.
3. The support was magnificent in the second half, those that turned up really got behind the team.
4. The Man City fans I met after the game were very friendly and not at all arrogant, i think they are a bit sick of what their club has become.

I suspect Sulemana was kept on because Rusk etc thought we would be under pressure and having a fast forward around would at least make City keep a couple of defenders back.
He was poor but he was living on scraps and hardly had a decent pass all game.

I don't think that particular celebration was embarrassing under the circumstances. Not too different to how we felt and celebrated when we managed to stay up on the last game of the season or just achieve that status. You could I suppose say it's not celebrating, but releasing the relieve that we actually got that 12th point and against one of the best teams in Europe that astounded the football world! I'd love to know what the odds were for a 0-0 draw!
It's the fact that we are in that situation in the first place that is embarrassing, particularly this season |  |
