I went there for a wedding in NYC last year. All the people I met in NYC were nice friendly kind people. One otr two fruitcakes in Atlantic city but I saw no trouble at all.

Not incredible, just personal experience.
For example, while I met some rrally nice Muscovites, when we were on Holiday in Spain (Cap Salou and Barcelona) our hotel had a lot of Russians staying there and they were really quite ignorant for the most part. But then I met a Russian couple when we were on Rhodes and they were very pleasant.
Take as you find. I won't write off a whole country for a few bad apples. If I did I would be very critical of the Welsh too! | | | |

It depends on where you go. I came back from Ibiza last week, our hotel was a mix of lots of nationalities with Brits in the minority, it was also very popular with hen parties from mainland Spain. They were having a great time but kept behaviour appropriate to a family hotel.
Then a hen party from Cwmbran turned up. They behaved like pigs.

The point was that the poorer Russians don't seem to go abroad that much whereas the British chav will jet off to sunny climes and get rat arsed and be a total pain.
Rich Brits are a paon in the same ignorant, self entitled way that the Russians I've met are. Still a paon in the arse just in different ways.
