1) Why weren't we given a penalty for Sugawara's shot? The Arsenal player put his arm out and stopped the ball. It was heading towards goal. It's on MOTD. It was a clear penalty for us in IMO.
2) Stewart and Robinson look good. Stewart's goal will do him the world of good. Robinson looks a confident lad, is tall and looks like he could help us next season. Sulemana played out if his skin, just because we were playing a top club?? Putting himself in the shop window. Ramsdale is excellent and will be a huge loss.
3) No lap of honour, apart from a quick walk around at the end of the game. This is a much better way of doing it anyway IMO, people want to get home, but have we ever not had a lap of honour before?
4) Season tickets next season. Speaking to a few fans yesterday saying they are disappointed about not getting 5 per cent off if you pay monthly. Some suggesting they won't be getting a new ST as they can't afford it and don't think it's fair to have to pay more.
5) Overall, some positives for next season. Stewart, Robinson, Taylor will bring some fresh energy to the team next season. |  |

1. Travelled to Southampton with the intention of going to the game.
2. Went to 5 Rivers. Very busy there, ridiculously loud DJ music outside.
3. Made an impromptu alcohol-induced decision to give the game the swerve with Saintwizzler.
4. Went to Steingarten. Enjoyed it more than any game I have been to this season.

Went for a pint in the dell pub at the ground, seems nice inside.
After that I had another beer in the fanzone at the back of the Northam. Band were good but getting served in there was chaotic. Quite sobering going from the atmosphere of that to standing in the ground with the reality of 90+ minutes of football to watch. I can see why Pat gave the game a swerve.
Our subs once again came to the away teams rescue…
Got the first train home I could at 18:55, it was rammed with gobby arsenal fans. Never realised what a bunch of dribblers they have in their fan base. Definitely on par with spurs and Chelsea gobshites.

The referee was appalling and gave them everything. VAR should
be taken to task over the handball as well.
Taylor was excellent. Much better than Jan, Jack and THB.
Ramsdale is the ultimate pro. Was furious at Smallbone for their winner. He is one of the few Saints players that actually gives a f*ck.
Sulemana was decent and I think Still will want to keep him.
Rusk made the team worse with the subs, particularly Smallbone. Would be interested to know if Lallana had much input since they took over. | | | |

1. jumped off the train and rushed into the South Western for a couple.
2. Nipped down to the Northam club for a couple more.
3. Swore like f*ck at the lack of a VAR decision but then had a good jump up and down when Stewart scored.
4. P*ssed myself laughing at the rushed ring of security around the centre spot at the end of the game.

3. Even in the pre-season games Charlie Taylor stood out. He was our best defender against Arsenal. Of course, he has been Leeds' Player of the Year, won the Championship with Burnley and was part of the mean defence that kept them in the Premier League for many years. He's probably the most reliable Premier League defender we've got so it was ridiculous that he was left out of the team for most of the season. Hopefully, Will Still's team selection will be an improvement on what we've had to put up with this season, Taylor will be a regular starter and we'll never see Smallbone play for Saints again..
