It won't be anywhere near £70 (though that is the maximum figure being quoted.) The predicted amount is around £45 if 5 per cent of eligible claimants apply. If more apply ( and why wouldn't they) then the payout will be smaller.

I have had so many credit cards over the years,mainly due to their 0% interest offers,so I hope they don’t expect us to remember which cards we had,and when we used them.
