You know the ones, the songs that are on the car radio when your stuck In traffic and your singing along like a plank all by yourself and all of a sudden you look around and other drivers are looking at you with an expression that says knob. This Is mine.
My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

Anything by Mr. George Benson, I'll pick this. If you look like a knob singing in the car imagine playing air guitar and making wahh wahh dooh doopie do bah bah bah sounds with a stupid grin and nodding head.
When you reach the place beyond thoughts, the only thing you'll find is love and the only purpose of life becomes to ease the suffering of others.

This actually happened to me. Pulled up to the lights near The Grapes on the Uxbridge Road, windows down as it was a warm sunny day and there was a girl stood on the crossing waiting to cross who turned and smiled at me when she heard me belting this out at the top of my voice whilst the lights were red.

Think these two songs were on the same chart show cassette recording i did as a youth and It’s now an involuntary reaction to attempt a sing-along whenever i hear them on the radio.

One of the best songs of all time. :)
Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. He runs like a cheetah, his crosses couldn't be sweeter. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore.
"Don't me drive, shrink the world and wrap it. That's where I shat it, lost in all the traffic."
Shudder to Think's cover of Crosstown Traffic.

this has been played twice on radio x whilst i've been driving in the last 6 months. windows down, blasting on the radio and singing to it like a nutter.... harlesden and shepherds bush.....got some looks..
I can't drive (couldn't reverse around corners) so always the embarrassing passenger/back seat driver singing along. This one I was giving it full vocal cords through a rough estate down here thinking we'd be out of sight quickly - and then the car conked out
And this one for full vocal cords everytime

I was driving to cricket the other Sunday listening to Radio London, Robert Elms was off that week apparently but they had someone on that sounded remarkably like him as replacement. Is it just me or do they all sound very similar on RL?
Anyway whoever it was put this on, great song.

Can you hit the high notes… It’s not nice listening to me and the misses trying…
