Queens Club next week, Wimbledon after that.
Never been a fan meself but I know we get some posts most summers.
I went to Wimbledon once as I had a complementary ticket in my spring bonus package at work.
I was trying to chat up a bird in the refreshment area.
I asked how old she was, she said “I'm 25”
The umpire exclaimed “40, love”

Not going this year (so far) but both are a great day out....you can take booze in too (def Wimbledon not certain on Queens). Daughter Crowe was a ballgirl there throughout 2017 tournament and was part of the guard of honour for the Mens Final trophy presentation (Duke of Kent shook her hand). My mate lives just along from Queens and hates the disruption - a bit like living in Batman Close I s'ppose.
There was a nice little pub there called the Carlton but sadly been closed for months. Would've made a fortune. | | | |

Love watching tennis. Roland Garros has been a joy to watch, except for Djokovich losing today. I reckon he's got 2 more slams left in him, so I'd definitely try and get to see him if he plays Wimbledon. The last one standing, so to speak, of the 3 legends of the game that, those that enjoy watching tennis, had the pleasure of watching them fight it out for almost 2 decades.
That will never be repeated again. |  |
