Dale Ladies....going places? 17:28 - Jun 11 with 951 views | Yorkshire_Dale | It was good to hear that Co Chair Cam mentioned the Ladies team in his Summer Update today. I have never seen them play but see theads on X that they are doing well and recently promoted. They do seem to be in and around Trophies last few seasons. Tend to agree with Co-Chair that Women's Football is a rapidly expanding area and something Dale should be pursuing. Nationally the game is booming with the WSL and Championship being readily available to watch. Noticed today that Arsenal Women are to play all their home games at the Emirates next season. They are pulling in an average of 29k attendances and topped 60k+ to almost fill the stadium last season at one point. I know we are miles from that.....but would it be possible to get our Women's 1st team onto San Spotty a few games? I think we might see a few goals? There's a thing. There are about 8 ladies in the new CAB , I know Charlotte sometimes post on here.....what do you folk think? | | | | |

Here's another thing.. 43 home goals scored in the league last season, the second highest total in the last 15 campaigns. 21 home goals conceded in the league last season, the lowest figure since the 2009/10 promotion campaign. (And 8 of those came in two games!) Three 4-0 home wins last season (and all since January), equalling the club record set in 1936/37. Back-to-back home games ending in 4-0 wins for only the fourth time in the club's history, and the first since November 2016. The first 5-1 home win in 20 years. [Post edited 11 Jun 22:59]

The ladies team sound like they are doing great but the time to start playing games at Spotland isn't now because of the pitch issues. In the future then hopefully that will materialise. I'm assuming because of your original post you dont realise the pitch is a big problem at the moment? [Post edited 11 Jun 22:49]
