Of the time Ron Noades was chairman / Manager at Brentford lol to be fair I told

Indeed. And noticeable how the Kelman threads have gone quiet since he stopped scoring. I make it going on for five weeks since his last goal

I miss making spending plans for the 25 gazillion that's coming our way, still. The interest earned on it alone since first mooted would have gotten us half a new squad.

On an aside, I wonder if Frank leaving for Spurs will be their ‘Venables’ moment?

Even though we stayed in the top flight another dozen years (different days back then) apart from that spell in the early 90’s under Gerry Francis we were never really the same once he left.
