There is approx 5 billion in govt funding for green energy solutions to businneses in the UK, I'd be amazed if we had not taken advantage of the help availble from grants....And it's 8k a month...

Whereas I doubt the Solar Panels will make £8k every month, they could well average £5k or £6k per month over the year, which would mean a pay off of the investment over 2 years or thereabouts, given a 15 year lifespan, (probably more with these newer panels) that could mean a saving of about £800k over their lifetime after paying off the initial costs....

The Ogden family spent £125k as a one-off investment, at no cost to us, to help reduce the running costs of the club by c£80k a year. When they bought the club they said their priority was to make us financially sustainable. I am grateful tht somebody has the wisdom and financial clout to invest for the long term.
