I spent quite alot of minutes actually watching him when he was on the pitch and believe me he was a headless chicken, was nowhere near the ball, when it was in midfield, he got in others players way, when he did get the ball he passed it to the nearest player, which was usually about 3 yards away
Yes he did get a tad better when sherhan took over but not much better, ateotd if we are to progress, we need to get rid of fulton, he will not fit in with sheehans and o'deas plans, plus his wages are extortionate for a player of his calibre, we could get 2 decent championship players for what he is on.

That’s a pretty fair assessment. He’s always been a weak link while we have possession. He just doesn’t want the ball under any kind of pressure. He’s one of our most effective midfielders when we don’t.
As it stands, he’ll get a fair bit of game time, especially if we play an aggressive 433, just because we’re very light in central midfield. I think he’d be one of the first we’d try to offload if we brought players in though, both in terms of wages and what he offers on the pitch. |  | | |
