Never liked him as a person, an attention seeking prat. Played with them at the Blackpool Rebellion Festival. Scummy arrogance.

Irrespective of what he has said he had a huge sign on stage at Glastonbury stating ‘Eat The Rich’ Not bad for a bloke who gets an average of £12k per festival show and was paid £32k for his appearance at Glastonbury.

Pillock.

It's the unchecked bile and hatred that leads to violence and conflict. We in the UK know better than to chant Death, Death and we know where that leads.

The cause of violence in Ukraine and Palestine is adjacent people stealing their land with very dubious historic justifications. When the settlements stop so will the violence. It is very simple.

Both Russia and Israel state the nations they are stealing from do not exist.

Re Rod Stewart, I only saw a brief snippet, but have noticed a few FB posts saying he did well. On the other hand, several said he shouldn't have been there because of his politics. It looks as though inclusiveness only goes so far for many who shout loudly about it in other contexts.

The bottom line is Glastonbury is a left leaning festival. In some areas of the festival far left.

It is still owned and run by the same man / family who is a former miner, trade unionist, Labour party candidate, corbynite and subsequently a green party supporter.

They've had links to CND and the new age traveller movement for around 40 years. That's the crowd the festival attracts - even among the more recent and younger crowd.

People will whinge about Rod's politics because his recent comments are polar opposite to the ethos of the festival.

That's not to support Vylan who should be prosecuted in the same way as Kneecap are being.

This is a dream ticket for Glastonbury. They apologise profusely to the suits and give a bonus to the Vylan fellow. It is in danger a of being a bit posh middle class and stale. Step up Vylan "fantastic". Even US Government reacted.

No laws broken. Siding with brutally oppressed people no law broken due to Vylans discipline. A court case rto come when the BRITISH Government will be on trial not Bob.

Bring it on says Glastonbury who can even help out Bob with a few bob. Remember Woodstock.

So good you said it twice, a criminal investigation has been launched so let's hang fire before it's established whether a law has been broken.

I can think of at least one law broken , similar to the red garbed fool on the steps of the Senendd with a loud hailer, not the sharpest in the box of chisels .
If the cap fits I suppose.

South Wales police do not go after red garbed people espousing ethnic hatred as we saw with the Bristol city supporters. In this case the citizens of Wales were innocent of any provocation.

They will prosecute on ethnic hate charges if they themselves or security people are abused. Welsh grannies? Not unless they complain and are prepared to go to court.

I thought it was an interesting comparison. He ad the SWP arrested anyone today I would have accused them of inconsistency and protecting foreign highly viscous military organisations over our splendid elderly Welsh shoppers and drinkers in Wetherspoons..

The spin off from the reaction of Israeli settlers affects all of us now and it is not our problem. It is time to solve the problem. UK people have lost patience and it is going to get worse.

Reading some of the comments made me realise that I'm quite normal .I know Doctors take the Hippocratic oath but I don't know if something similar is required by nurses.
I wouldn't want to declare my faith to the likes of him ,might never recover.

If he's a nurse then there's a fair chance that he's earning a fair chunk, if not all, of his wage from Central Government and there are probably rules in his terms of service about how to conduct himself when not on duty.

I wonder if he's sticking to them if that is the case.

It is fair to say that as a nurse he would be treating injured or dying people irrespective of race religion age etc.

He would likely be quite angry and not being allowed to do his vocation. His anger for me is understandable.. The situation is n Gaza is reported as gruesome.

UK is badly out of touch and the population is getting very angry. This was evident at Glastonbury.

These are exceptional circumstances leading to real anger and over emotional rhetoric.

IDF have form as with the Shaba and Shatila massacre of 1982 before th nurse was born.

I go to the absolute basics and the violence here and in Ukraine. It is not a matter of emotion but a matter of illegal land annexation.

If you hate your neighbour you might give him a nod of acknowledgement just Io keep the peace and be on your way.

If he annexes part of your garden things will kick off and punches thrown.

All talk of prejudice and hatred are a smokescreen covering up land theft. Israeli are being killed not because their faith is hated but because they are annexing Palestinian land by force.

The hatred is a result of this not because of history

The people of UK have had enough and the anger is increasing. It is illegal to make comparison with other historical events particularly one. At some point the theft has to stop and a settlement made.

I remember the Shaba and Shatila massacre in 1982. ..The British people will have their say as they did at Glastonbury. BBC should tell the world to get lost. They reported what happened and represented the feeling of the thousand present.

Skysports displayed in full the Bulgarian racists abusing Raheem Sterling and analyses in full. No sacking no discipline no editing. When Gerwyn was getting it is was too obscene to see the Brit drunks abusing him. They turned the column down.

BBC showed the world what UK people think of the IDF a criminal foreign army.. They did not coordinate it just reported it. They should tell the Government censors to take a hike.

They told the UK people there was no WMD in Iraq. Tony Blair was furious and the Chairman was sacked. Tony Blair made a grovelling apology in 2011. The BBC was right.

No it is not. The cause of the violence in not religion or faith but land theft. It has nothing to do with beliefs. Theft is wrong in all faith's that I am aware of.

Your line " Israeli are being killed not because Jews are hated...." needs to lose the word Jew because it implies Jews can be or are hated.

There are many Muslims, Druze, Christians and non believers in the IDF.

There are many Jews around the World, who have no part in any current or past conflict. The ease in which you interchange Jew for the State of Israel is the root cause of the problem.
