I particularly enjoyed the comment from Barrie Drewitt - Barlow when referring to who he bought Maldon and Tiptree Football Club from...he hesitates slightly before referring to 'The Cowling Family'....

Well, Maldon & Tiptree has undergone an impressive makeover and is all the better for the new ownership and ideas.

There was also a reference from 'Si' who referred to Colchester United's mode of acquiring some loan players before the Cowley's arrived.

Suffice to say it was disappointing to see some loan players bought in who were actually injured while the negotiations were taking place.
