Good luck E17

Not quite the same thing but I was thrown in at the deep end about a month ago when I was with a tour group and the guide dropped out from the first bit with illness. Someone said, you know the subject, you do it. There were about 50 people and they were wearing their earpieces. I was given a headset mic and someone said set it to channel 2 when you're ready to talk to everyone. Absolutely dropped in it. Everyone followed me off the coach as I walked slowly over to the location. F*ck, I muttered to myself. How the f*ck do I remember anything about this place? I've only been here once for f*ck sake. What the f*ck do I tell these people? At that point my phone rang. It was the driver on the coach. He said, you're mic's already on channel 2. Everyone can hear you! ... After that I was made to talk about this place for an hour with everyone grinning and filming me. Surprisingly it went much better than I thought. They all believed everything I said... And it was mostly boll@x. Yesssss!

Never knowingly right.

Editing today. Hell on Earth.

Send a version. It comes back. Send the revision. Comes back again. Send again:

No. I'm not an effing magician.

Get another request - take out the words "bits and pieces" from a speaker. This was part of a whole piece where there were no gaps or breaks. Send it back edited.

"It sounds artificial".
Do you think?!?

I am also editing today E17. I have to say that I'm tempted to start sending out this Mitchell and Webb sketch as I almost broke a rib watching it. Think I may adopt this technique!
