Perhaps better remembered by those of you with grey hair and those like me with no hair.
Some great jazz numbers when accompanied by her late husband Johnny Dankworth.

I grew to appreciate Cleo the older I became. Her "diddly-dee" style of scat singing didn't initially appeal. But what a great voice she had and a charming personality to boot. Her husband's (Johnny Dankworth) setting of Shakespeare's sonnets, in a jazz idiom, are, to me at least, one of her standout efforts.

So, is that two this week? With her joining Ozzy to do a jazz version of Paranoid, in the sky. Who is the third going to be?

Hasn’t Connie Francis died as well? Different genre admittedly.
