So some Tottenham podcast nobody says "I think Tottenham could approach QPR to see if they would take him back".

That turns into the headline "Tottenham to approach QPR for Yang transfer – Exclusive"

That article then gets sent around making ad revenue for the website. The website then talks more crap and the cycle gets repeated, rinse and repeat.

As he plays in a position in which we do not necessarily need strengthening, and did not particularly impress last season, it's surely a no.

Now, if they've got a decent LB or CM, we might be interested.

We’ll probably do it if it’s for free as it’ll generate a LOT of revenue for us, just look at how many Koreans turned up at LR last season and left with bags stuffed full of stuff from the club shop and shirts with his name on.
Football doesn’t necessarily come into it (see Park!).

Thing is, I don't think we paid them last time.

My guess is they paid us to do it, with a bonus for making appearances.
Paying a club to take someone on loan is a thing that happens. Often to much lower level teams, mind.
