Watched GB news for the first time in a long time tonight where they commented about the BBC investigation being a month behind them.

Yes, you have to take in a number of outlets to get a decent perspective these days, the news business is about page views and clicks as much as reporting. In addition, the competition in the market means opinion is more prevalent than reporting.
I find foreign outlets quite enlightening in that they not only have views on affairs that UK outlets carry, but they report on issues that are ignored by UK news media. |  |
