So I would think we could get a higher deal than £1 million a season even in the Championship, given our standing in the game, we could possibly attract £5 million at the moment and with clauses for it to increase if we go back to the Premier League.'

Am I right in thinking that the club / fans pushed a bit for the ‘St. Mary’s’ to be included as the original name was suggested to be simply the Friends Provident Stadium’ ?
Always remember Rodney Marsh slagging off the St. Mary’s bit as the twerp had no idea why it would be St. Mary’s.
If we did rename it, regardless of whether the prerequisite was to include St. Marys or not. I think it would still be called that by the majority. Bmuff is still Dean Court to me…. | |
