…..on the way - my favourite season. Kids back to school, football played in correct temperatures, Fuller's Red Fox available ( just had the email ), idiots keep their car windows closed. What more could one ask ?
For once this year the long hot summer didn't pass me by as I was out of work so I basically saw it from beginning to nearly the end and it was fabulous. I'm working now so Autumn will pass me by.

I struggle in this 30 degree heat to be honest - London isn't built for it, especially when you're having to get a packed tube into the city for work and shuffle crabby children around on packed buses. There's something special about Autumn/Winter for me, getting into a warm pub with a fire on and throwing off your big coat. Less lagers and more proper ales (love Fullers Red Fox). Crisp walks under cold blue skies. Can't wait!
