HARD TO BELIEVE on 16:24 - Aug 24 with 1017 views | terryb | I struggle to understand why you don't/won't beliece it Gazza. Decides the players that we sign & sell - The chances that Stephan or Cifuentes knew much/anything about the players we've signed since summer 2024 is very remote. This especially applies to Stephan. Picks the Team - I also doubr that he goes to the head coach & says x must play, or y must play. What I don't doubt is that he would go to the head coach & say that we need x to play so that we can increase his valuation. Decides the Team tactics - As Nourry has himself stated (numerous times) that the whole of the club has been set up to play to a set system (allowing for minor adjustments), what part of this do you dispute? Has any input into the Teams dead ball situations - I'm sure Nourry doesn't, but the dead ball coach reports to him rather than Stephan. My doubt is that Stephan has any say in the matter & that the routines are practised without his input. This is conjecture as I don't know this, but it appears to be the normal practice at clubs. What does the manager/coach do??? - I expect he adheres to what was agreed between himself & the club at his interview. In my view that would mean being in general control of the coaching & team selection as specified.

Totally agree Tel, and in case anyone is wondering Terry is a very level headed bloke ( unlike me ) so when he starts showing concern, I start worrying!

HARD TO BELIEVE on 10:24 - Aug 24 by Dono77 | It was rumoured last year that nourry kept coming into the dressing room and getting involved in team selection. Thats when MC started getting peed off. Hardly a suprise that he decided to look for another job!! |
It’s to Marti’s lasting credit that he didn’t put up with that crap. Nourry OUT !

Long time lurker Baz, but one of these days, eventually… when all is said and done. Some people might accept that what you’ve been saying isn’t that wide of the mark. Peace and love etc etc. ;-) | | | | Login to get fewer ads
HARD TO BELIEVE on 07:03 - Aug 25 with 438 views | sevenhoop | The seminal moment for me was the Plymouth game. That team can only have been picked on a directive from high. No manager/first team coach would have sent that team out there. So there’s a 100% sign of interference. Binned off that cup by playing a youth team, most of whom will never see the first team. Pissed off the many loyal away fans, who go to Watford knowing that almost all senior players were rested and we’d be raring to go. Except we weren’t and were an absolute shower of sh1t.
HARD TO BELIEVE on 08:11 - Aug 25 with 365 views | LongRanger | Not that hard to believe... Definition of a a narcissist ... a person with a pattern of excessive self-involvement, characterized by an inflated sense of self-importance, a deep need for admiration, and a profound lack of empathy for others. Narcissistic individuals often have fantasies of unlimited success and power, believe they are unique, and are entitled to special treatment, reacting poorly to criticism. Do they make good leaders... A narcissist can be a good leader in times of change or crisis, exhibiting qualities like confidence, a bold vision, and assertiveness that can rally support and drive direction. However, these traits often mask underlying self-centeredness and a disregard for others' needs, which can hinder long-term success by leading to unethical behaviour, poor collaboration, and destructive organizational cultures. Sorry for the definitions, but I've said for a long time he shows all the traits and based on experience this was always going to end badly, for me its just a question of how badly. Hoos recommended him and Reuben signed it off, so they need to take responsibility, but regardless now, we need Nourry and Hoos out and sensible leaders in there.

HARD TO BELIEVE on 15:40 - Aug 25 with 123 views | PlanetHonneywood | In three seasons time, as we're all sipping celebratory bubbles outside the Stade de France, having lifted our first (proper) European trophy, we'll all be falling over ourselves to claim to have been the one that first said, 'That 7-1 at Coventry will be the making of us!'

HARD TO BELIEVE on 10:49 - Aug 24 by sdm1508 | He has appointed himself as a 'sporting ceo'. I would think that he would be present at games and maybe training as part of his director of football remit. See how players are training, developing to understand what is needed. Not defending him but I do also think if he was never present people would be saying he should be there to see what's going on |
Please explain, if you’d be so kind, what are Nourry’s qualifications to do these things you mention?
