Not from one league game to the next league game they haven't. Its not unusual for it to happen from a league game to a cup game.

Yes hundreds of teams have changed full X1's in League cup/FA Cup games before - nothing new there. 2 league games may be a first? Although I'm sure the last game of a season may have seen it done before? Without looking into it it's difficult to say.
