Apologies - non Rs related..

Me and the Mrs are travelling to Northern Spain in 2 weeks. Train straight down to San Sebastián, then following the coast using local trains. Have got Bilbao / Santander / Ferrol / Gijon / Pravia / A Coruña and Santiago de Compostela on the itinerary so far - nothing set in stone. Any other reccomendations (or suggestions for removal)?

Ribadesella is a beautiful seaside resort on the north coast, with a terrific beach, large river and picturesque bridge, good restaurants and a tourist attraction where you can see prehistoric cave art in situ.

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

San Seb and Bilbao great cities. The former you can relax over vino y pintxos and herself will love it. Bilbao bit more to it.

However, if you like your history, then take a swing by Guernica. That said, if the state of the world is a downer for you currently, then maybe not.
