Tymon and Key are not great defensively Neither is a good tackler and both can be rounded easily Tymon is good going forward Key looks as if he is then loses his way They both need to improve and they will

I expect the role of the full backs to be slightly different this year, with more assists coming from further forward than Tymon. I also feel that Samuels-Smith hasn't come here purely as back up to Tymon, Chelsea wouldn't have called him back from Strasbourg to sit on the bench here. With all the players at Sheehans disposal some players are going to feel put out.
Agree with the fullbacks role but I think we saw it to some extent against Sheffield Wednesday nice to see Tymon holding a deeper role once we were ahead abke to then press on come onto the ball at pace with the balls from Stamenic holding a higher defensive midfield role and when the ball being recycled quicker or more efficiently athrough the backline. Do you think Sheehan will play loan players given the quality of our first eleven straight away or will he take time to assess his new options, he started with a familiar team at the start of the season but with the luxury of getting a look at new players given the cup games has build a nice look to the team with permanent signings. We have seen how the bench strength has increased quite dramatically with players being dropped and moved on be it out on loan or by agreement. Will be interesting to see if Sheehan sticks with his permanent players if we are doing well which will increase the value of our playing stock or introduce loan players which could increases our performance and value all round.

Oddly we signed this player from Chelsea on loan. He signed for Strasbourg and within 6 days Chelsea were invovled in bringing him back to Stamford Bridge. Not sure if he was there for even two weeks.
A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

I think the international break is going to influence his early team selection starting with Hull. Players have signed and not going to be here, so no integration into the squad. I expect Vipotnik to start against Hull with Idah coming off the bench. TBH I can see the team that started against Sheffield Wednesday starting against Hull, with the new players being on the bench coming on later. It's going to be a battle just to make the bench we have so many options, some are going to be really upset.

It is a bit odd but Boehly owns both clubs so God knows - but I've read it's because Strasbourg's existing LB unexpectedly signed a new deal and then they also bought Chilwell off Chelsea meaning ISS was not gonna get in their team. So Chelsea exercised their buy back option on deadline day and then immediately loaned hin to us. Or as my mate described it - "perhaps they sold him to Chelsea Ladies or even their Hotel team....anything to rig their FFP figures....:)"

I don’t think Sheehan will immediately turn his back on Cullen, which for me is prolonging the inevitable, but the team selection on the pitch will suffer with his lack of goalscoring ability.

There’s no need to select Cullen now He’s a lovely lad but he’s really not good enough for us if we want to progress

Let's just see how it goes, is Vipotnik on a purple patch or is his form going to continue. How is Vipotnik going to feel being knocked back down the pecking order, will he be here after January. Let's just see how all this pans out, we have bought duffs before but I have more confidence that this lot know what they are doing.
