Most ridiculous rules you have ever encountered 12:16 - Sep 20 with 4878 viewsnumptydumpty

Just experienced what i feel is totally bonkers rule at QPR...

Most ridiculous rule, perhaps in the history of existence on Planet Earth !!!

I have just bought a bottle of diet coke in the South Africa Road concourse.

The guy handed it back to me with no lid on.

Apparently people are not allowed to have the plastic lid in the stadium, in case people throw it onto the pitch at players.

One, i am at the very back of South Africa Road stand, and two, its incredibly difficult to throw a tiny plastic lid at any kind of velocity to cause any impact, if it did hit a player

However i can go in with a full bottle of coke, empty or full would be worse than a tiny little plastic lid. I was allowed in though, with my stainless steel replacment cup.I wanted to have my drink later, not now.

So peed off, have gone home !!!

🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃

Well maybe not the last sentence, the rest is reality !!!!

Every match I take an unopened bottle of water with me. Each time my bag is searched and they see the bottle. No one has ever said I have to take the lid off so the rule about taking the lid off if you buy a bottle in the ground seems strange!

Not QPR, but i just moved to Portugal and found out that if you are a Portuguese national and have a baby, you can only name them from an official lost the government creates. If you arent portuguese, you can give the child any name, and then that name gets added to the official list.

If anyone has recently gifted their child a few quid to form part of a deposit on buying their first house you’ll know the ridiculous amount of bureaucracy involved to comply with money laundering legislation. Really over the top. Anything under £10k should be exempt. In fact I feel a letter to my utterly useless MP coming on.
