Team mentality 20:57 - Sep 20 with 983 viewsOakR

One of the things that stuck with me from Clive's interivew with Stephan, was the way he talked about hw they won the Charlton game in the week before, knowing it was unacceptable but also remaining emotionally stable.

You can also see how we don't just set out to defence a lead, we still go for it. We are not in a let's defend the lead, we are in a 'let's extend the lead', defending by attacking. No more inviting pressure.

I think this all gets through to the players - you can see the spirit, togetherness and fight.

I think now having what looks like a deeper squad is a huge help. Stephan also seems to be learning quickly. The real rest is at Sheffield Wednesday next week.. For me that game is huge. That will show what kind of mentality we have because it is a game we could easily lose. Again, whatever happens it is about how we come back from any defeat and if we can win three in a row after an absolute hammering then he's obviously got the players onside.

Never knowingly right.
