People like this should be absolutely slammed and not see the light of day for years. But somehow they always escape punishment. Do you recall a few years ago several people were arrested after suitcases stuffed with Qatari money were found in the offices of MEP’s? One of them a vice president? They found £1.5 million yet 4 years later every one of them still walks free.
Also you would expect with the other parties being so far behind in the polls they’d be leaping all over Reform over this.. But they aren’t. It’s fairly muted. That’s quite telling in itself, probably because these sorts of shenanigans are worryingly widespread. | |

I think it would be also very naive to think we and the US and a lot of other countries aren’t also interfering in Russia in a similar way. There’ll be plenty of Russian oligarchs and politicians in the wests pocket too.
