I assume Durham is at Fleetwood today, so time to get the matchday thread going.

One change for the U's for the starting XI this afternoon, with Macey returning from his concussion-protocol absence, and good to see him back (not that Tom Smith has done much wrong standing in - thanks Tom!). Mbick will be looking to cement his stake as our starting no. 9 going forward, but I expect Tovide will make an appearance at some point today.

Think I read Fleetwood have drawn their last two home games 1-1. Whilst it might not necessarily be a bad result today, I'm getting fed up with 1-1 draws, time we started turning them into 3 points.

One of the worrying things about DC's recent musings is the way that he keeps mentioning the loss of Ben Perry, and how crucial he is to the team. I find that comment bizarre, given the fact that Perry has started precisely three league games and, although tidy enough, didn't exactly set the world alight. Odd.

I see what you're saying, he's also said that about Goodwin and he played even less and showed very little, but I think it's more the profile of the player we're missing. We don't really have that ball winning midfielder now which has possibly upset the balance of the side. For me we're missing too many key players right now and the ones that are playing aren't playing consistently well. It's not a great position to be in.

We don't really have that ball winning midfielder now - isn't that why we brought in Gape?!?

He played ok versus Wycombe and then terrible versus Accrington - now out of the squad and replaced by young Ronnie Harvey.

Might as well stick Tucker in Centre Mid when Flannigan is back after injury.

Was 2-2 until the subs were made. I think Cowley left making the subs 10-15 mins too late, and I would have replaced Mbick for Tovide, as Mbick was blowing after 60. And I would have replaced Anderson with Gordon for the same reason, especially after Anderson went down with an injury and Lisbie was our only outlet with his pace!

Onto Chesterfield at home - what price on a 1-1?
