Don’t start on the fans! We can out sing your sausage munching boys any day. Take it up with the FA, EUFA and FIFA, It’s 100% their fault, they only care about one thing, cramming in as many games as possible and hawking the game around to whoever is going to pay the most to watch it.

It’s not the fans fault that the new Wembley is total shite, no parking, hopeless public transport, missing the kick off due to delays getting to you seat, leaving 10 mins early to avoid the ridiculous queues for the tube, shite design that’s hopeless for acoustic, too many hospitality seats, half the seats empty at kick off because the prawn sarnie brigade are still at the trough, endless friendlies (on a Thursday!), pointless qualifiers against countries no bigger than Mersea Island, over-priced tickets aimed at tourists and wealthy families instead of those that keep the game going week-in week-out, rip off replica shirt prices. The Premiership is just the same, Worst Ham playing in the shittest of stadiums totally unsuitable for football, but full of hospitality venues. It’s no better this side of the channel replica Real shirts 150 euros and PSG shirts 172 euros, that’s about 150 quid for a shirt that’s only going to last 12 months!!!!!!

I've given up on international football. I only now pay attention to it when there's a tournament. Even then I struggle to recognise half of the English players, not because I've not been watching England, but more because a player doesn't have to be a regular for their club to feature nowadays.

Indeed, and whilst the global interest in English football is great for the money men, players wages, gambling firms, shirt manufacturers, etc. It’s not so good for Joe Average in England. I’m just glad I support a L1/L2 team, because the atmosphere at Premier League games is nothing like it was 20 years ago.

My favourite of the ‘atmosphere killers’ at Premiership games are the foreign tourists that will pay anything just to be able to post a selfie on their social media account, of themselves inside the ground pouting like they’ve just been smacked in the chops with a wet haddock and then spending the game filming the non-existent atmosphere by holding up their phones and blocking other people’s view.

People from all corners of the globe paying over a grand for a hospitality ticket to see ‘their team’ and then trying to sing along to ‘Walk on’, but not knowing the words!

On a separate note, maybe someone can explain to me why nowadays, women of a certain kind feel impelled to spend money they can’t afford on bottox, so they can look like Daffy Ducks girlfriend, and then post photographs of themselves with the stupidest exaggerated pout, in what I assume is an attempt to look more ridiculous than any of their friends?

Holy chuff!

I've just seen on the official Bastardlona website you can buy a replica Yamal shirt for 299.99 euros (about 260 quid)

https://store.fcbarcelona.com/fr/collections/kits/products/jsy-m-hm-mtch-ucl-lam

I've just changed the language on that link from FR to EN and it's saying 325 quid for the shirt? Is that really how it appears in the UK? No wonder the fans are quiet, I'd be subdued if I'd just been mugged 325 quid for a shirt that cost about a fiver to make.

EDIT: That is correct, it's 260 quid anywhere in the EU including Ireland, but 325 quid in the UK. The joys of Brexit, at least the 350 Million a week has transformed the NHS and the migrants have stopped.

Saw a post on FB the other day from one of those Daffy Duck's girlfriend types, moaning about how she spent about a grand on a Premier League ticket (can't remember which club now - maybe Everton?) and couldn't get in! Her warning message was "don't buy tickets from X/Twitter!" - Know Sh!t Sherlock!

Poll: What was the main reason for the Col U win versus Carlisle?
