bryony road, sawley road, steventon road....will all be camera'd up from early november.
wormholt road and all other cut throughs will be monitured for cars outside the h and f parking zones.

the cameras are a trial period and anyone going through these will not be fined, but data will be collected.
after the trial period you will be fined......just a heads up lads and lasses.

I’m so glad I don’t drive in London anymore. They are doing their best to stop all cars coming into our capital city.

Oh Christ - bloody LBH&F. I can't see drivers wanting to use these roads as a ratrun as most roads are already blocked off.

Do you mean these roads will be restricted to residents?

So if I drive up from Hampshire to watch QPR like I have been for donkeys I can't park on Wormholt Road after November? What is all this carry on? Just leave people alone

no. if the residents in them areas are parking permit holders then their registrations are automatically on the system and will be excluded from any cameras.
what they do with residents in them areas that have off street parking i dont know.

the trial is for 18 months....so plenty to sort out.

if you know the area its anywhere in that little/big square with the borders of the a40, left at old oak road, left at uxbridge road, left at bloemfontein road that takes you back to the a40.

USING.....cameras to reduce out of borough traffic thats clogging streets.

REDUCING....traffic speeds for safer walking and cycling routes.

INCREASED....greening throughout the area.

MORE....cctv presence on bloemfontein road.

BETTER....play equipment in wormholt park.

Out of Borough traffic clogging?? Do you mean people driving their cars?

Does having cameras make it safer for people to walk down the road

Increase greening? Not sure what that is

What's traffic gotta do with getting better park equipment?

Is the capitals because you're angry and you think I'm stupid lol my road tax should allow me to use the roads, its my road son not the Borough's MINE

there is some sort of article for off street parking residents that will have to apply, probably through their council tax proof, i dont know.
mini cab drivers, freinds/family of residents will also have to apply.

emergency services, royal mail, and delivery firms also exempt.

Lol fair play mate, so I won't be able to park there to watch Rangers? That's all I care about in fairness

Two crass examples of lbhf vehicle policy:
1. I don't have a car at present but my wife has and has a permit. If I wanted to say, go shopping, on my return I'm not allowed to park outside our house as the permit is “owner specific”

2. Two friends came down from Durham to visit a relative in Charing X hospital. They could'nt park on the road behind the hospital as the P&D machine “didn't recognise” their car.

hopefully you will.....because this is going to have a knock on effect to the other surrounding areas. i feel for all qpr fans driving into the areas on match day.

good luck anyway.

on a different note, last week i paid for parking on that road behing charing x hospital, 2 hours 15 minutes, £20.

hammersmith and fulham again.

and just to clarify all our parking permits doubled this year.
some have to pay over £1,000 for a second car.

how did the pay and display machine not recognise the car.....mad

It's the much derided “Ringo” system.
They had to walk a long way (he has an artificial knee), and find a machine that took cash or cards.

If you enter via Stevenage Road hence checked for entry and leave via Wormholt Road hence not checked leaving what is the situation regarding any fines. Alternatively if leaving via Bryony Road after the game hence not using the route as cut through will there be a fine. Is the system to stop cut throughs and/or to stop parking for Rangers fans

The irony of the Councils actions is that it adds anywhere up to £100,000 to the values of properties within these ‘zone’, making it even more unaffordable for young buyers.

Used to live on the wormholt estate years ago , and it was a massive shortcut from White City to pretty much Park Royal , when they closed most of the access roads to old oak etc it all stopped , so don’t know what they think this will achieve as by the time u sit in Uxbridge road it’s no quicker than just staying on the A40 and carrying on to East Acton etc. will make trips to rangers slightly more awkward as will have to access the state from Uxbridge road now instead of via steventon the usual way in. Good ok Sadiq strikes again

Isn’t our boy chairman part of the council now ? Wonder if he raised any objections or has he spotted a money making scheme by adding permits for match days to that years season tickets sayten quid a game to allow us to park ?
