QPR's road warriors sink ten-man Swans - Report on 15:46 - Oct 24 with 375 viewskensalriser

Tremendous report, much to agree with, especially re Burrell. I felt he was originally signed as a third choice striker but he's played himself into possibly equal first choice. He's a smart player and if he can improve that heavy first touch will become a very good one.

NB player ratings are spot on, too.

Top Man Clive thank you - Great report with loads of little bits and pieces in to make me smile. Don't know why but I always enjoy your report more on the second reading - Must be my age.

Anyway glad you mentioned Field - I also get annoyed reading negative stuff about him on social media. The guy is a top pro and a very important figure in the dressing room and will continue to have a big part to play at this football club.

And as for Madsen well - I am going to be violently sick if I have to keep eating this humble pie. Absolutely incredible turnaround.

I'm still struggling to come to terms with what's happened since the Coventry debacle but my god keep it coming........

Watching on Sky, I felt uncomfortable with the 'possession' football in the second half, when all I wanted was a second goal to seal the win. It felt like, before long, Swansea would get a free kick somewhere dangerous or latch on to a mistake and get an underdeserved equaliser. Clive's report however (he was actually there!) gave greater attention to the efforts that we made to increase the lead. I now feel even better about that win.

I have to agree with this.

Over the years we have witnessed many times when we are hanging on by the odd goal and start sitting too deep and missing good chances on the break. It has been a common theme over the years. Swansea didn't cause us many problems until those late subs then literally had three good chances in the last five minutes. It would have been a travesty as we were clearly the better side but I felt both nervous and angry that we had given them the chance to snatch something.
