What a goal that could have been by Jimmy !! 22:36 - Oct 23 with 797 viewsnumptydumpty

The width of a post from another iconic moment from James Dunne.

A powerful run from well inside his own half, deceptive pace and strength and then unleashing a rocket shot across the keeper and nearly uprooting the goal posts.

An inch the other way and it goes in off the post and we would all remember that forevermore.

For me this season, playing wise Jimmy has been solid without hitting the heights of his last two seasons form. But possibly the captaincy focus and the fact we have so many new options up ahead, he has been almost completely as a defender.

Last night that run and shot showed the boys still got it.

Legend - no doubt for me....

Nardi getting better at the Begovic slice to halfway and Jimmy’s head too.

Him and Cook not getting many headers on our bazillion crosses per game though.

I did fear that either Cook or Dunne would get a 2nd yellow, as often refs seem to even it up when they've sent a player off
