Isn't Ryan Nelson going to have a role to play in our defence?
I'm not sure the problems are necessarily as bad as they looked. The application just wasn't there, the basics of defending got forgotten and players like Fabio and Diakite decided to play as attacking midfielders. More focus, do the basics, set the team up properly, with a dedicated defensive midfielder, and we will do much better. Oh, and tell Fabio that if he ever loses the ball again and only jogs back, we will put him in a crate and get Sir Alex's friends at DHL to ship him back to the north west. Via Murmansk.
