Par for the course: play reasonably well for most of the match, make some substitutions and throw it away in the last few minutes. Hopefully, we'll learn how to play for 90 plus minutes under the ginger wonder kid.

Thank goodness this season is over only hope next season will be better,of course it has to be as this was a complete joke, never in supporting Saints for 70 plus years have I’ve been more disappointed than this and we have had a few bad ones but at least those teams showed they were proud to wear the shirt. Please except my sincere thanks to all who participate in these posts as most are very well thought out, also thank you Nick for your insights each week, until next season all the best.

On comes Smallbone, bang goes a point! He is slow and lopey crap. Robinson seemed ok though. Let's hope Billy Stilly can get Stewart fit for the new season as he's too slow.
It seemed strange watching the last Premier League game ever but that's what SR have reduced SFC to.

Thought we battled well today against a vastly superior side. Delighted for Stewart to get his goal. If he can get fully fit I think he'll be a real handful in the Championship. The two younger players did well. Would have been good to get a point but our usual late goal scuppered that. The crowd and support were great especially considering the season we've had.

Happy with Still as our new manager. Bit of a gamble but much prefer him to some of the dinosaurs mentioned.

Fernandes and Taylor were very good but it was inevitable that once Smallbone was sent on, Arsenal would score. How many of us said, "Oh no, not Smallbone" when he came on? Couldn't he be left on the bench for a change or better still, somewhere else entirely?

We have been subjected to worse this season for sure They should shut of the stadium clock because when they see half or full time approaching they relax and lose concentration
Good to see Robinson and Sanda get game time Both are impressive and will provide useful options in the championship Sanda maybe a future captain in the making
Keep Ross fit and give him a full pre season him and AA could easily get 40 plus goals between them
We know some good players will leave but hopefully a lot of our not so good or frustrating players will also go
Let WS bring in some of his own and next year MUST be better

Played very well on the front foot for more than 70 minutes but then went defensive. It doesn't matter who you choose to blame on the playing side, it was a managerial decision that cost us the points!

I'll second the mention of Smallbone. He cost us a point today. He used to be a lot more inventive, and even imperious. Now he makes Flynn Downes look like Usain Bolt.
