Thought it was good fayre for the championship to be honest, but we lost so will never give it a high marking

Thought Smyth and the first 25 minutes was the best we played all season... and we should have made that count.

Unfortunately the game plan seemed to be ... sling crosses into the box as heading practice for Jack Cooper, who was thier MOTM for me

The 2 goals, especially the second, killed us off really... and though we huffed and puffed, the result was never really in doubt

Thought the selection was strange... and if there was ever a game for our nippy little men... this was the one. Lobbing crosses into the box was not the right option

Debate about Nardi.should he have come, was a little harsh on him to be honest. Smyth was our MOTM... closely followed by Dembele...

A frustrating day at the office.. play worse and win... just didn't happen for us on the day

Agree with much of the previous post. We played 2 big men up front (though Kone's not that tall)) and kept hitting crosses that the Millwall defence mostly dealt with easily. I assume Saito and Burrell didn't start because of their international travels, but it showed how important they've become to us. We were much better when they came on.
Frey was poor and it was a shame not to give Kolli an opportunity. Should we conclude Stefan isn't convinced by him? Not sure if Nardi was at fault for the first goal, but our defence was all over the place.
In fact, Rs weren't that bad but didn't have much luck and the ref wasn't prepared to give a penalty. I thought there was at least one very good shout. I also thought Burrell might have been offside for the consolation goal.

Strange match in the sense we played better in the first half than the second yet lost that by 2 goals. Really disappointing we couldn’t create more when 2 down at home and chasing the game.
