 | News Comment | Swans travel south plus Sheehan poll reaction and early team news at 12:08:38
Rotation is key and it's a bit of a juggling act as you know. Substitutions are important and using them all if necessary during each game to give others the rest time they need! As a coach that is a challenge, but Liam Cullen as produce some game changers when he has come on as sub! I'm sure the coach will get the right balance. As for stats, then mean nothing as you know because you can get them to say what you want! As the politicians they do it all the time 😁! Come on Ye Swans 👍😎⚽🦢 |
 | News Comment | Ethan Galbraith : The Swans are reluctant to talk in January regards any offers at 14:42:30
I see only two possibilities here. 1. If the price is right and 2. To hang on to the end of the season and should his performance be maintained throughout (and no doubt it will!) then no doubt his value will increase! Of course Orient may have a sell on clause so its a tough call. On the other hand should he be sold, we need to immediately have his replacement in mind. The earlier he goes in a window the better it will be for all concerned! No Jack wan't to see the Ethan go, however, sometimes a hot potato needs to be let go right😁! For as long as we have him let's enjoy a masterpiece at work 👌😎! |

Thank you Keith for the thumb up, but it's not something I actually think about. It comes from the heart and therefore, it's inspiration that is as natural as breathing😁! That word "inspire" means, in the spirit! You know it all to well as a writer, when you start writing it flows naturally. The only difference is our paradigm or world view as we see it. It can be positive or negative and the world as we see it right now is all negative. They want results and they want it now (the fast food idea!). Patience is long gone from our society, because if they don't get now they through a tantrum and demand results or else! For a good example; take AI, nobody wants to think for themselves when you can have a machine doing the thinking for you right. When that happens those skills that has been handed down for generations are no longer valid. Why on earth would I want to do the hard work is the question they ask themselves if there is an easier way to get from A to B? The next think you know with computer to brain technology now being rolled out is; "I want to be a professional football player. Ah, I've got all the skills that Messi or Ronaldo can do"! Think of the movie The Matrix, Ah, I can do Kung Fu! I know where you are and going with these new technologies and I can assure you, no one will benefit from it, well except a chosen few! I'm a researcher on many topic in our current climate of world events not just football which like for many my interest and passion. I go to match and I'm crazy as the next person. I come to games to leave the world behind and enjoy the ups and downs as everyone else. However, the moment I walk out the gate I've put on my natural hat on so to speak and behave accordingly! Everyone is different and when they leave the ground they do their own thing. But at the game we are all on the same side sharing our passion, including getting some fast food if we must! The world is no longer the same place and what was once considered as values are drastically disappearing! Life in the fast lane rather than taking time out to reflect on what is actually what! Our paradigms have changed and fast food and "I want it now has become the norm and is the consequences of it! Apologies, but I couldn't just miss this opportunity to help understand where I am coming from. I avoid criticism because it drags down the spirit and Swansea City has been well know for having a great spirit within the club. Of course you had those Americans Paracites (in their nature only who tried to destroy our club and as I said, once they were exposed they couldn't get out the door quick enough. The sad part is, that bitterness they left behind in the fans is still lingering within the fan base of the club because their trust was abused! These American business stated time and time again, "We and our family are fans of the club" but all along they simply wanted to destroy that fighting spirit within the club. If we don't stick together as fans (and every staff member are fans) then they would have succeeded with our help! There is that age old saying, divide and conquer right, that is to say, together we stand and divided we will fall. The Power Players whole game on a huge scale is to crush that fighting spirit of independence that makes each and everyone of use unique. Swansea City was recognised for that fghting spirit who defide all the odds! However, the so call globalist had to crush that. So they sent a team to do just that. Fortunately, they were found out by the club and fans and it was pleasing to see them leave with their tails between their legs! Who are we? Jack Army 😁! Come On Ye Swans ❤️🦢🏴⚽! |
 | News Comment | Alan Sheehan : Is he performing ? Full review, stats, plus some exact data & opinion in our Sunday update at 12:47:48
I believe that Sheezy got his tactics all wrong with the subs as I said on your report after the Leicester game. I echod your observation of the game but he's still learning his trade so to speak. You look at some of the great managers/coaches who began their careers with the hiccups and gone on to be legends. He told this team is a work in process and the club is looking long term to create a team that can compete top. We have 12 new players who are still getting to know each other's game and it doesn't happen overnight! We live in a world of fast food type football and sacking managers/coaches like there is no tomorrow! For me I can see what Sheezy is trying to do but it will take a little and patience. We the fans believe he was the man for the job and I still believe he's the man for the job. It's easy to pick holes but put yourself in his position and it's easy to see why he can be frustrated! Every team in football no matter how good they are have off days. I said we were good enough to beat Leicester but after we equalized the team lost their way. We all saw what happened. It wasn't pleasant for any Jack watching because we just crumbled. We allowed Leicester to get their tails up. Remember they have four draws in a row uo to this game and we had the opportunity to win the game but once thet got their second then it was game over as we all knew. We went to deep defensively and we lost all urgency. The played it safe and when you're behind you have to take risks. Long balls if need be puts the opposion under pressure because they don't know who coming up behind them in some instances. Creative play was lacking and as such we paid the price!!! Let's see where we are halfway the season before pointing the finger but that helps no one and just makes it harder for the player's and the team. It's far to early to say one way or the other and on one I know has a crystal ball. We all need to give the man a break and let him do what we all know is possible. We all dream about successes right of the team we follow, but we forget quickly this is the Championship which is as many have said they tough league in the world! Fast food is only served before and during the break. So let us all (including me!) give him some space to do what we know he can do. With the player's we have I believe Sheezy can get us to the promise land! |
 | News Comment | Swans defeated : Foxes ability and guile thwarts the Swans at 02:50:18
Excellent article, just as I saw it! From tactics, pace and decision-making all went south today. To slow sums up beautifully! It was a game as you correctly said where we were still in up to time, but urgency was lacking when it was needed most. It looked at one time we were on the and would have got something out out of this game, but Leicester's second goal killed the game off for me. The desire was missing after that and we because predestination like and you can't afford that because it will cost you. The biggest disappointment was when we pulled back the equalizer we allowed them back in. It was all up hill from them on. Tactics cost us today but even though we lost this one at times we did play some good football. I put this down to a bad hair day as all teams have them. I'm sure after the international break Sheezy will put that right! Your analytics were spot on 👌👏! Cheers🍻, Come On Ye Swans 🦢🏴! |
 | News Comment | Swansea City v Leicester City : New contracts for Tymon & Vigouroux plus Foxes in serious compliance trouble at 11:56:16
Absolutely agree👍! Excellent observations👌! Taking of observation, I'm a season ticket holder on the East stand, but last it out I went over to the West as I upgraded for the Millwall game out of curiosity! . The observation I made was this. Yes they are fans of course, but they are to dignified to make a noise like they do elsewhere around the group! As fans the team enjoy and get boosted by the fans cheering them on right. However, that was missing altogether on the West stand and noticeably from the East stand! The dugout is on that side of the ground, so drop the dignity of the game. Leave it outside the ground and let loose and follow the Jack Army's example. They are well able and every voice noises is one point on the Richter Scale🤔😁! Come on Ye Swans 🦢⚽🏴! |
 | News Comment | The Swans won’t hurry the player with so much natural talent at 12:46:57
I'm sure he will grow in to his role in time. He has everything needed but adaptation don't always work out overnight! Talking about adapting, Liam Cullen seems to have found his feet in the new role. Last time out in the Cup game against Notts Forest he got a superb assist for VP. Then again again Blackburn he arrived late to the party, popped the cork the the fireworks got ignited. With our backs again the wall at times the boy's worked their socks off to ensure all three points. It wasn't pretty, in fact it was quick ugly at times but they got the job done via sheer determination! When we will back at the end of the season, it will be games like this that got us where we are (or will be)! If you want to get promoted then it's games like these that show how they got there! I'm the optimist, the glass is half full not half empty right! Thinking allowed, if Liam Cullen can adapt his mindset to a player maker instead of a striker then it will benefit all in the team. In two games he has an assist and a goal and you can't ask for more than that. However, knowing Cull's he'll want to do better than that because that is who he is! |
 | News Comment | Swansea City : It’s not just Sheehan at fault, it’s Darren O’Dea too at 12:55:27
One last thing! If the club is putting out feeler to see how the fanbase reacts then it isn't doing itself any favours! If you are a true fan then you won't be as negative by pointing the figure of blame! What you are doing is inviting a negative response that will drag the club downward. You maybe aware of what you are doing, but that is exactly what you are doing! I've noted I still have a yellow triangle with an explanation mark in the middle on my two previous comments! So much for free speech when the author dictates who get to see what is what! In the case I'm more than happy you don't publish those above comments, but it don't take a genius to figure out what you are up to. Stop seeking feedback with your negative comments, because if you are not careful you'll start a fire you can't put out. You'll get exactly what you asked for and will being helping Sheezy out the door a lot sooner than we want him to go!!! The fans are on board and they are not expecting overnight success. However, they can see where the club wants to go. That take a positive mental approach and not a negative one! Have a nice day Jack😁👍 |
 | News Comment | Swansea City : It’s not just Sheehan at fault, it’s Darren O’Dea too at 06:48:23
Give the guy's a break! I've been at all the games this season and what I've seen their is lots to be encouraged about! The Birmingham game is understandable. They looked jaded at the end and that is why we lost. They switched off of a moment and that was that. Birmingham wasn't the win more and they got it! If our "goal" stood in the first half the outcome would have been different I'm sure of that! It's early day's yet and all teams are still finding their way. If things look bad at Xmas then you have every right to express your views and we will notice it ourselves too as fans! Playing a Wednesday night then travelling throws they body clock and it why they were not on top of their game against Birmingham City. Sheezy is not the first to comment on the issue about the format and poor timing of games selections and he won't be the last until that format is updated and changed, and yes it can be improved upon! We haven't had an awful start so give the guy's a break. I don't know about you but I see a lot of positives in this team and coaching staff I'm convinced they will turn it around once every is up to speed. Look at the table, one win would put us on the same points as the in 3rd place! Have a little faith and trust. After all many of us publicity state we believe that Sheezy is the man for the job right! Just be patient because I'm more than confident we will be right there at then of the season will Sheezy and his stuff at the helm! |
 | News Comment | Swans happy with the distraction as they work on getting players in at 23:30:34
The speculation that so called professional journalists put out has gone beyond that would be considered rational a few years ago. The most fitting word who be, "Insane". The is no reasonable sense it what they are doing in the nonsense they putting out. There's no accountability and therefore, the can put any B.S. they like (and they know it) whether there's truth in it or not! I saw the headlines in my feed (NewsNow Swansea City 24/7) and I don't ever get tempted to read them because I know for sure there's no substance to such articles. The one about Sheesy being under pressure was a big "What the hell are they on about. It's as though they are trying to cast a spell on the club. I'm not joking either! However, the club has been down this road many times in the past with the likes of TV pundits, only to end up with egg on their faces! They are called the experts yet the always end up looking like the fools they are trying to avoild. There are bias reporting going on in the media and hence they have lost every bit of integrity they ever had! Once the fat lady sings we can try and enjoy the football without putting up with such nonsense from insane reporter who have nothing better to do than dream up delusional ideas than try and sell it to us! However, the Jack Army I believe are wise to it and treats them wirh the contempt they deserve m!!! Is a joy to read good honest reporting that is today as rare as hens teeth🤔 (don't have teeth by the way😬!)! Keep up the good work, it's always noted 📝😬! Come on you Swans 🦢🏴👌 |
 | News Comment | Swansea City : Time to spill a few beans on this crazy summer window EXCLUSIVE at 09:55:42
I've been a subscriber for a long time now, and like you you I know the writer are copying other people's work. The have no creative of their own or have the researcher skills ,but most importantly they lack integrity or authenticity! What enjoy about the Swansea Independent is, it really is independent and calls them out who show the club in a bad light but masks it to sound professional. Most of them are not Swansea City fans anyway, and the one thing that stands out is for me, is someone who willingly admit they got it wrong and are not scared to admit it! For me, the Swansea Independent is in a league of it own compared to what is out there. Fans are fans right, but when it come to the Welsh they are die hard fans and the Independent is a Swansea City fan written all over it! I would recommended ever Swans fan on the planet read the article because they're sincere. Business is business they say, but if you're not passionate about your job then it's just a job that will have error written all over it. It becomes mundane without the love for what or why you're writing for! Everywhere I notice it but not with Swansea Independent. There is no competition because as said, they're in a league of their own! Thanks for keeping me informed on the truth what's really going on at our club, it's always has something different to tjose6of the mundane! Come On You Swans and YJB's! (Of course YJB is a affectionate and endearing term known to those who have a real connection with the club. With the fan base too there is no other like it. It's original and sincere and as one player from Italy who spent just one season with before moving on to Spurs said (I'm paraphrasing), I couldn't believe it, the team looked dead on knees and were struggling to stay in the league, but the fans were dtill white behind the team that gave all the more to fight for and we stayed up because of them. He continue, in Italy and other places the fans would get on your back and boo you but not Swansea fans, "It was amazing"! Apology for tangent, it's a Swansea City fan thing 😊! |
 | News Comment | Why do Swansea City’s majority owners fail time and time again ? at 00:40:28
Since Sug's left the club to go to Eventon for £45 million that January transfer window in the final year in the Premier league the club was in trouble. The American owners didn't replace Sug's and the result was we failed to stay up. With that £45 million and with the first parachute payment we didn't bring in any real quality players into the club. Graham Potter did a remarkable job and so did Cooper but where did the money go? The Swans were the only club in the Premier and vast majority of club in the football league we were always in their black and not the red financially! It seems to me financial power players in the US hate success stories as these players have sold America down the river! For example: The American people are now poor and in debt just like we as a nation have done. Everything our father's, grandfather's and great grandfather's built is all gone just as the American cousins find themselves in now! The whole world has become poor and the money and business men just got richer and richer! Look at the news world wide and 99% of it is all bad. That "..and final" on news programs is always something to cheer us up. The truth is, they are laughing at us! Swansea City has been sold down the river because we were a succes story that gave small people hope, and the elite wanted to crush that; American was a success story as they lived the American dream but that is well gone now. If the Swans are to be successful again than those yanks must go! |
 | News Comment | The issue isn’t that clear on Duff’s Swansea future ( Fans poll result ) at 09:09:03
Personal I don't like his style of football whatever that suppose to be? Whatever he did in league one worked but the championship is a different ball game! In my opinion I can't see it getting better because it seems the player's are confused! Ashley Williams sumed it up on Tuesday night when he stated, "I can't see what style of play Duff is trying to implicate" (paraphrase!)! I've noted the keeper is kicking the long balls where the typical game as we Jack's know is player out from the back! I have to ask myself am I being over critical? I don't think so because I don't like what I'm seeing! |
