Southampton Sell Out Wembley Tickets In Just Two Days Monday, 20th May 2024 14:41 Saints have sold out their entire 36,000 allocation for the trip to Wembley on Sunday in a little over two days, great support from the entire season from Saints fans is now going to pack Wembley Stadium.
Southampton FC have put up a link on their ticket page thanking Saints supporters with the following message.
"Our Play-Off Final tickets have now sold-out. Thank you for your fantastic support!"
Short and sweet and too the point, it seems that given we sold the entire allocation in a little over 48 hours, that we could have sold far more tickets than the 36,000 on offer and so could Leeds for that matter.
But the 72,000 allocation to both clubs is still way short of the total capacity of the stadium of just under 90,000, indeed 88,898 attended the recent League Cup final between Chelsea & Liverpool & over 85,000 attended last season's Championship play off between Luton & Coventry.
So there are around 15,000 tickets out there either gone to sponsors or through Wembley itself, so perhaps worth trying Wembley stadium even if it is a hospitality package.

Pretty shambolic process unless you are a season ticket holder. Queue to get in today was up to 90 minutes, many people chucked out and Saints Plus members were screwed unless they had a login for every member. I ended up with 2 when I should have got 4 and they are in the gods. There were better tickets released after my slot. Two very dissappointed offspring!

I would e mail them with the complaint, you never know they might have a wating list if sponsors return tickets etc

I was in queue, got down to 20 mins and then it added another hour on top ! Managed to get one, I think it is in Neasden, it is so far back. That coupled with a few beers before, I could struggle to see the game. Not complaining, grateful I got one.

@ Avior Completely agree! Had an 80 Minute wait then could only purchase two as only have two supporters numbers and even though it said pick friends and family that didn’t work and each time insects seats by the time the server processed them they had gone and you were offered alts and it gave me seats 3 rows apart

Yes major issues with getting seats i spent best part of the day on this kicked of the site 3 times despite memberships which as it turns out was a waste of money and season tickets . Got some in the nick of time but not together

I can’t really understand process either logged on as season ticket holder in allocated timescale and only one’s available were £67 or less in the gods how could all of those have been taken by season ticket holders ? I don’t think we have 20000 season ticket holders ! At least I am in and all I can say is COYRS

Picking up on Nick’s post, two words are responsible for a lot of those 15,000 seats - Club Wembley. There are Club Wembley memberships that have a kind of debenture facility attached and then loads of hospitality options on top of that, some for members to opt in to and the others for one-off non-members. Club Wembley are offering one-off full hospitality Diamond Packages for Saints fans at £499 pp and private box options for 8 / 12 or 20 people at £599 pp. A fair bit to fork out but might appeal to some - especially if you can put it on expenses 😀 Details here - https://www.clubwembley.com/events/2024/The-Championship-play-off-Final Not sure what the FA / FL take for this but I’d say they should re-map Wembley for the PO Finals, in particular for the Championship PO to increase the Club allocations to 40,000 + per club as I am sure they won’t sell out Club Wembley in all categories so some decent seats could be put to better use minus the hospitality options.

absolute shambles as usual from SMS ticket office: knowing that I had the membership and the purchasing history, I took the precaution some weeks before the end of the season to get my daughter junior saints membership. No welcome pack ever arrived and her membership number didn't work on the portal. The ticket sales announcement about the final was encouraging people to buy memberships for 23/24 right up to yesterday. Was only £20 for her, but as far as I can see it bought her absolutely nothing, qualified her for nothing and led to a false hope that she would get a ticket. One v p*ssed off 11 yo in my family last night. Twitter is full of Leeds fans gloating that they got tickets in our end too.

As a bewildered technophone, I'm sure plenty of people with less ticket qualifications jumped me and mine in the queue. Bring back vouchers and physical queues along with the Red and White stripes of course. Good Luck to those (in that number) that do get there, you value those tickets, make sure you lose your voices, and ensure we win.

Just been in a 'virtual' queue again for the further 1100 tickets that they found(?). This just a further installment of the farcical fiasco. With no joy, so extra good luck to you all in that number. Leave your voices in that stadium to ensure ultimate success.

Six games in just four weeks, with four of them against sides also in the bottom six. By March we should be either well clear of danger, or even deeper in the sh*t. With Danny Cowley’s U’s still unbeaten, and looking stronger game on game, I’m sure it’ll be the former, but first we have to do our bit to consign Steve ‘Sour Grapes’ Cotterill’s FGR back to non-league.
