The Frankie Friday Music Thread.....RIP on 14:39 - Dec 24 by W13R
Life just seemed a bit more simpler back then.
I remember a few (hundred maybe!!!) pages back when we were talking about that Soul II Soul 1-3-2 beat I posted this one up…..monster track for me. Absolutely fantastic days where a lack of technology was a bloody Godsend looking back!!

This one is for our very own raving lunatic QPysR who I’ll always know as Brixo for his brilliant Sunday contributions years ago. Alas, now his weekends are 5 days long so we’re rarely treated to that!!!
Have a good one my rave brother
Thanks mate Sometime after all this unicorn nonsense ought to do a Frankie/LFW night after a rangers game in the C&S or Adelaide and youse lot (You, Jody, JDL, Steve n Disco) take over the decks for the night...could do it for charity GOSH or something?
Original and the best tho................
and this ones for PP and me............
The only mix that matters........

This ones for JDL from his show today fkn unreal (maybe last nights tings helped lol ;-)) , sent it to about 30 people so far lol What a fkn tune
Glad you liked that one, it's a brilliant album but I think it largely slipped past unnoticed. Produced by Pete (from Digs & Whoosh) and released after he passed away.

The whole show was blinding mate. Release was superb yesterday We sat down for the traditional Boxing Day attack on what was left at 2:10pm with your show on….didn’t leave the table save for getting more wine or having a piss until Lee Robson was almost finished just before 8pm. It built perfectly with Tony B also doing a sterling job.
Thanks for the shouts

that show on Sunday was a cracker. caught up with it earlier on and loved it.
The Brizzle boy done good!
Seconded.
Release Radio was the perfect backdrop for Boxing Day. Build with some great soul selections by Clint T, into JdL with some eclectic stuff (no Ethiopian goat herder jazz fusion though), on into Tony B with some fantastic choices and then the irrepressible Lee Robson to get the place lively. I absolutely loved it as I sat at the dinner table getting slowly pissed trying to block everything out.
Music is good of life… play on, play on
