Just seen that on Sky news paper headline round up and nearly spat my coco out!!!
The jerky-ometer will be going into overload!! Classic to see Rio is in the thick of it so Arry won't be able to dig them out "Top pro, great influence on the lads, not a moments trouble...blah, blah, blah"
Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal
The bash was held at a South West London pub and involved stars from both sides — but chaos appeared to erupt after a drink was reportedly spilled on former Manchester United centre back Rio Ferdinand, with Joey Barton having to step in as a peacemaker to stop the situation spiraling out of control.
Details on the incident are currently sketchy, but the Sun report confirms that Caulker, formerly of Tottenham Hotspur and Cardiff City, was ‘rushed’ into hospital following the incident after suffering head injuries.
The incident comes at a terrible time for both clubs as they are embroiled in a Premier League battle for survival, with QPR having climbed further up the table at the weekend thanks to a crucial home win over Burnley and Neil Warnock’s Palace also having picked up a creditable result — 0-0 away at Tottenham Hotspur.
QPR have made a brief statement through head of media and communications Ian Taylor on Twitter, confirming that Caulker was treated for a cut head but denying that he was involved in an altercation

Front page anyway though eh lads? "Too good to check".
If you searched the names Barton, Ferdinand & Austin on Twitter yesterday afternoon/evening, you'd have stumbled upon enough comments from various randoms to know that something had gone on.
The Caulker stuff wasn't mentioned by anyone, though!
The brawl started over the fact Caulker had organised an Club 18-30 holiday for the Xmas doo, which meant most of our squad couldn't go. Rio was furious as he had cancelled a book signing gig in Manchester.

I'm pretty sure rio would never ever cancel such an important thing like a book signing
"QPR defender Steven Caulker required hospital treatment after suffering a head injury at a team lunch. Caulker slipped over during the squad get-together the day after Rangers' 2-0 Premier League win over Burnley."
So he slipped over and cut his head and we're trying to pass that off as a brawl?! Another typically half-baked effort from this pathetic team of overpaid mercenaries!
I yearn for the days when QPR fans could expect and get a PROPER brawl from their players.
Frankly if you're not causing a diplomatic incident then you're not doing it properly. Redknapp out, etc..
