With this latest guidance, it's good to see such extensive information being provided for iFollow. There's this and the Q&A from a day or two ago
I expect this is down to two factors: the greater numbers that will be using iFollow prior to being able to attend matches (and the much-needed income that goes with people signing up for passes), plus the highlighting on this messageboard of issues fans have been experiencing. Those issues have been around for a while it seems, but circumstances have made the club sit up and take notice
Many people, especially regular users, might wonder what the fuss is about, having perhaps experienced no glitches; but for new users the signing up and validation process doesn't always go smoothly
I bought a DFRC yesterday, calling into the club office. The staff emphasised i should sign up asap ahead of the match on Sunday, and anyone who hasn't already done so should crack on with it to avoid system overload before kickoff
And no, i haven't received my code yet but if it hasn't arrived by the close of business today, rather than everyone trying to contact the office i'm happy to do so to prompt them

All those in receipt of the match pass will have received an email from EFL Digital, headed "Your purchase has been successful"

Your email from the club should be headed "FREE iFollow Code - Rochdale v Portsmouth"
It'll contain a 12-digit code, with 11 letters and 1 numeral, i.e. ABCDEFGHIJ6K
If you haven't received that, give the club a ring tomorrow on 01706 644648 | |

There doesn’t seem to be a fire stick app. But using the Firefox browser on fire stick should work. I’ve not tried that myself as I got in the habit of just plugging my laptop in the telly with the HDMI lead, it was only yesterday I even saw I had a browser on my fire stick! I haven't got mine yet either. I e-mailed yesterday and they said they are sending them out in batches of 50 and i should have received it yesterday.
I've e-mailed again today asking. I suspect it's not a straight forward process. | | | |
