When the Nightingale’s were built they I don’t think they had the stuff to run them. I seem to recall there was a fuss up in London and basically the hospitals who wanted to send Covid 19 patients in the Nightingale’s were told they also had to supply the staff, which was a big ask as they were already struggling to staff their wards. Since then, they have recruited additional staff and can draw on Bank and Agency staff, but this will obviously cost more. | | | |
