I think the mystery created by the mart6 phenomena may have fueled the 'legend' aspect of it all? An enigmatic character, an apparition, a boogey man that lurks in the shadows?

Could he even be human? Maybe some form of rather crude, minimal repertoire, computer programme, maybe the first ever creation of down-arrow-malware that was engineered on a 1982 ZX Spectrum and transferred onto the internet?

A predictable one-trick-pony, you know what's coming next, in same way you just knew that Rod Hull's Emu was going to end up attacking the TV presenter or chat show host?
