He'll have a year left on his contract at end of the season. £5M is a bit steep. Doubt we will pay that.
He'll probably have a stormer of a season and the fk off to someone else, as Brentford won't want to lose him for free. | |

For me it’s more of a 2 + 2 . . . . yes I know that makes 4 but neither Cooper or Joseph were playing regularly & likely to struggle to make the bench once our injuries & Covid absentees return, hence it makes sense to loan them out.
So for me it’s 2 first team squad out & 1 in so far (Williams).
If we were to retain Grimes & add Ntcham, Fosu & Obafemi that would be a decent last day in terms of playing squad additions for me - disappointing on fees received I grant you, although the £1.5M DJ bonus helps a tad. | | | |

Basically a straight swap.
As Lisa said earlier, prices we receive mean nothing in this market.
